It is becoming increasingly important to have certified translated documents in multicultural countries such as Australia. A NAATI translator can translate a written message from one language to another language. A certified NAATI interpreter can also be used as a communicator between parties that don’t understand or share the same language. Our team of experienced and NAATI accredited translators can ensure that your documents and message is translated accurately and efficiently.

  • 1. How much does NAATI translation services cost?

Our translation service rates are based on the number of words translated and hours accumulated during the translation period.

Our rates are determined per translated word. We also charge based on the number of hours invested in document translations. Share the original content with us; email us at enquiries@syl.com.au or drop it off at our office.

Our translation service rates are determined by several factors including:

    • Number of pages and words
    • Language
    • Amount of time
    • Localisation requirements
    • Special requests (incl. short-turnaround)
  • 2. How do I certify a translated document?

For certain certificates and documents to be recognised as ‘certified’, requires the translator to be NAATI accredited and writing a formal letter specifying that the translated document is up to NAATI standard. Unfortunately, we do not certify documents that have already been translated. If you are interested in an accredited translated document, contact us today for more information.

  • 3. Is NAATI only in Australia?

Yes, NAATI is the national standards and certifying authority that only governs Australian translators and interpreters.

An accredited NAATI translator and interpreter can be recognised based on their ‘certified translator stamp’ or through their ‘Verify Credential’ tool. A NAATI translator stamp is issued to all accredited translators.

  • 5. Who can translate immigration documents in Australia?

All foreign documents related to migration require a full translation that is stamped by an approved translation service. The Australian government recognises all NAATI approved translators, this ensures that the documents can be certified and legalised for migration purposes.
